Welcome to Meg's Garden ~ a collection of woodblocks & textiles created as a tribute to my lovely Mum Meg and the plants & birds she cherished in her garden in the bush at Sandstone in W.A.
Mum's Valencia Orange tree owned a patch of the backyard right near the chook pen and next to the Hills Hoist. Well watered always, it produced large juicy oranges which Mum enjoyed fresh although she always said the Seville Oranges were best for making her marmalade. x
Meg's Valencia Orange also features our new textile design, Peach Succulent.
The Maxi Woodblock is a combination of hand drawn & printed illustration combined with beautiful fabrics, mixed media & resin. You can hang your woodblock on the wall or stand it in amongst your treasures or indoor plants for a pop of unexpected colour.
Sized @ 29x20x3cm & suitable for indoor use only. Created with UV & HAL stabilised resin for efficient long term ageing & yellowing protection. Do not immerse in water and dust & buff with a slightly damp cloth.
